Gilvorn Brightthorn

Description
Gilvorn is a young Infernos male who is known among the mining levels are a troublemaker and a ruffian. Gilvorn can best be described as arrogant, short-tempered and full of hot air. He's always the first to get into a fight and he's always too stubborn to back down. Gilvorn has one prosthetic leg and two prosthetic hands.

He runs a small gang of Infernos who roam the mining levels looking for fights and trouble and they are currently trying to build up a reputation. Mostly Gilvorn and his thugs have been viewed with mild irritation and distaste and they haven't done much harm, but recently they've moved on to bigger crimes and they've even started demanding protection money from Innkeeper Rahl, a man who practically no one has any quarrel with.

Appearance
Gilvorn is a young Infernos, medium in build and height. As there isn't really any concept art for Infernos, I can't give much of a description. He has a prosthetic right leg and two identical prosthetic hands.

Location
Gilvorn cannot be found anywhere until the player has access to his quest chain. He makes an appearance in numerous quests before his chain so that the player has time to become familiar with him.

Role in the Game
Gilvorn is a major quest npc. He appears in numerous event quests and single quests. Once the player has completed a certain number of these, he/she can access Gilvorn's Quest Chain.

Factors that influence his dialogue
Since the player cannot find him outside of his Quest Chain, he/she will not be able to speak to him until much later. By the time you might him, he will either hate you or like you and this will affect how much he is willing to tell you. He tends to brag a lot and he throws insults around easily

Quests involved in
  • Gilvorn Introduction Event
  • Beggar Event
  • "Fuel to the Fire" Chain: ALL QUESTS

Death:
Since Gilvorn can only be found late into his Quest Line, the player will not have the chance to kill him. He CAN be killed at the end of the "Fuel to the Fire" chain as part of a scripted event.

Sounds like a good thug character. And he's the first Inferno we've had so far! Looking forward to seeing your next quests. Oh, and speaking of quests, we should definitely talk about the quests on IRC next meeting because we both have so many ideas that could fit so well together later on.  ;D
